Crystal Palace co-owner John Texter is willing to sell his shares to the club’s co-owners in a deal that will secure a place in next season’s Europa League, sources have told สมัคร ufabet กับเรา รับโบนัสทันที

UEFA rules prohibit a single person from being involved in more than one club. In the same competition to avoid conflicts of interest.

Eagle Football Group, the conglomerate owned by Texter, owns a majority stake in Ligue 1 side Lyon. Who have also qualified for next season’s second-tier European competition.

Palace’s four partners – Steve Parish, Josh Harris and David Blitzer – were in Switzerland on Tuesday to discuss a solution to Palace’s Europa League participation next season.

Texter is hoping to show UEFA officials that he has no stake in the clubs. As he holds around 45% of Palace and 90% of Lyon through Eagle Football.

Speaking to the Mail about the meeting, he said: “Look. All of the UK knows that I don’t have decisive influence over Palace. It was a good meeting.

“They listened and we’ll see what happens. I wouldn’t be trying to sell (his stake) if I did.”

However, a meeting with UEFA ended without a formal decision, although a source with knowledge of the situation is understood to have said a final decision from European football’s governing body is likely to be made next week.
