Monza have announced the signing of Keita Balde on a free transfer, signing a short-term deal until the end of the season. The left-back, who turns 30 next month, is a free agent after terminating his contract with Turkish side Sivasspor on January 1.

He has been training with Monza for a few days now and has reportedly impressed coach Alessandro Nesta, who has recently returned to the club.
Monza have now announced the signing of Keita Balde, who will stay with the club until June 30, 2025, with the option to extend it at the end of the season.
The Biancorossi currently sit at the bottom of Serie A and have the second-worst attack in the league, which is why they are desperate to bolster their attack, especially after losing Milan Djuric during the January transfer window.
Keita Balde has made 185 appearances in Serie A with Lazio, Inter Milan, Sampdoria and Cagliari, and was part of Senegal’s squad that won the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. Other clubs he
has played for include Monaco, Espanyol and Spartak Moscow.
Keita set to complete Monza move after positive trial
Monza also underwent a coaching change in the last few days, bringing Nesta back to the bench to replace Salvatore Bocchetti. However, this didn’t stop the 29-year-old striker from continuing his trial at the club, impressing the former Milan centre-back.
