Scholes names two key players he expects Man Utd to sell to raise funds this summer

Paul Scholes has revealed the two key players he expects Manchester United to offload this summer to raise funds for new signings.

Manchester United’s performance this season has been a major disappointment, with the club desperate to get back on track under Ruben Amorim.

The Portuguese boss says changes are needed but also acknowledges the financial constraints the club are facing. Which could make it particularly difficult to attract top players. Amorim’s initial transfer budget is expected to be modest, unless sales bring in additional funds.

This reality can lead to difficult decisions, especially when it comes to releasing players, especially those coming out of academies who are valued in the market.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes said: “It must be a big concern. Where is the money coming from for new players? สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน We’ve seen the interview with Sir Jim and it’s not very interesting to read. It doesn’t look like Ruben Amorim is getting a lot of money to play on the pitch. It doesn’t feel like that at all.”

“I feel like I could be wrong, but I think they might sell two young players. I think they might sell Kobbie Menou and Alejandro Garnacho. Maybe the club will sell them this summer.”

“Selling Menu would be damaging, they could do both. Garnacho came later but Menu has been at the club since he was a kid. He did brilliantly last year and it makes the academy look bad if a player like him doesn’t do that and they have to sell him. I hope I’m wrong, I hope they don’t do that, but the noise I’m hearing is very worrying.”
