Bruno Fernandes has hailed Kevin De Bruyne as the playmaker who played in Sunday’s final Manchester derby.

The game ended in a draw after Manchester United and Manchester City drew 0-0 at Old Trafford. As both teams failed to create many chances in one of the most boring derbies in recent years.

De Bruyne announced earlier this week that he would be leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer. Bringing an end to his 10-year spell with the Citizens.

Over the past decade, the Belgium international has been instrumental in City’s dominance, winning six Premier League titles, five Carabao Cups, two FA Cups and a Champions League as they look to complete the treble in 2023.

In 413 appearances for City in all competitions, De Bruyne has scored 106 goals and provided 174 assists.

After the game, Bruno Fernandes said: “It’s an honour to play against him. He makes the Premier League better. If Manchester City are still in this situation and Manchester United haven’t won many trophies in this period, it’s also because of Kevin De Bruyne.”

“He deserves all the credit for 10 years in the Premier League. เล่นเกมคาสิโน UFABET ทันสมัย ฝากถอนง่าย They decided to part ways. I don’t know whose decision it was.”

“Kevin continues to maintain a world-class standard and it’s great to see him play up close and compete with him.”

“He will go down in the history of the Premier League, not just Manchester City.”

The 33-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Middle East last summer but ultimately stayed at City for another season.

MLS newcomers San Diego FC revealed last month that they had held talks with De Bruyne as he considered his future.
